Luke Bryan – Heinz Field – Pittsburgh, PA
Luke Bryan brought his tour to Pittsburgh, PA on Saturday June 21st to play in front of a record crowd at Heinz Field. This was the first of four stadium dates on the tour. Cole Swindell, Lee Brice and Dierks Bentley were the opening acts on what was one of the grandest of stages I had ever seen. There were runways, bridges, a large center circle – you name it.
After great performances from the three opening acts, the crowd was chomping at the bit for Luke Bryan. Photographers were permitted to shoot the second and third songs of Luke’s set, which was brightly lit and fun to shoot. He moved around the enormous runways and stage so that everyone down on the field could get an up-close look.

With the size of the stage and the distance between Luke Bryan and us photographers, all photos were shot with my Nikon 70-200 f/2.8 lens attached to a D4 body. ISO ranged anywhere between 100 and 4000 depending on where the performers were standing.
Thanks for stopping by. And make sure to check back often for more posts…
